Weight of a sheet of plywood 3 4 in

For an 8 foot by 30 tabletop made of 3/4" plywood, how much weight should it be able to hold, with a square steel tube frame underneath (1 1/2" 16 gauge)? I'm building a custom computer desk. I'm torn whether to stick to my original plan of doubling up the plywood, or save a bit of money on supplies and just stick with 3/4".
